Cambridge Blood and Stem Cell Biobank
The Cambridge Blood and Stem Cell Biobank (CBSB) collects, processes and stores material from haematological malignancies from all stages of disease course, alongside cord blood samples primarily for the study of malignant blood disorders. From patients, tumour cells and appropriate constitutional samples are isolated where available, with both viable and lysed cells stored whenever possible. From cord blood samples, stem and progenitor cell populations are isolated as needed.
